4.0 earthquake recorded off Oregon coast
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded a 4.0-magnitude earthquake in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Oregon.
The temblor struck Sunday night about 121 miles west of Bandon. It occurred at a depth of 6.2 miles.
There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
KGW reports that quake follows two others in the four days along the Oregon coast.
On Saturday, there was a 2.3-magnitude quake about 14 miles west of Newport. On Thursday, there was a 3.8 quake about 67 miles west of Tillamook.
