Local Alert Weather 0506 PM

KTVZ

Hello Central Oregon!

A gorgeous start to our Sunday that quickly changed. Heavy rain to thunderstorms passed through parts of Central Oregon in the afternoon. There’s a slight chance of thunderstorms for Central Oregon this evening. The strength of the storm has moved off to the Northeast. Tonight our skies will clear and temperatures remain mild in the upper 40’s. The breezy conditions from the storm will also calm tonight.

Monday we’ll wake up to clear skies with temperatures warming into the upper 70’s to lower 80’s. Tuesday will be another warm day with partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain showers or thunderstorms in the evening.

Due to the storm things change Wednesday. There’s another chance of rain showers and temperatures drop to the upper 60’s. Daytime highs stay in the 60’s until next Saturday when skies clear up and temperatures warm up into the 70’s and 80’s once again.
