Driver killed after fleeing fiery Oregon City gas pump crash

OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) – Authorities say a driver was struck and killed by a minivan shortly after crashing into a gas pump in Oregon City.

Clackamas Fire District 1 says the driver plowed into the pump early Monday, igniting a fire. The driver then ran onto Highway 213, where he was fatally struck.

The crashes remain under investigation.
