Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM
Happy Monday evening, everyone!
Winds will be breezy at times out of the northeast tonight gusting 15 miles per hour. We’ll be fairly calm overall with variable winds after sunset and mostly clear skies. Temperatures stay mild and above average in the low to mid 40s.
Tomorrow begins with sunshine and comfortable temperatures for the morning. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s by the afternoon. Increasing clouds will develop throughout the day. Once we get to the afternoon and evening we have the chance for some thunderstorms east of the Cascades. Overnight into Wednesday we’ll carry a good chance for some rain showers and maybe a few nocturnal thunderstorms as well.
By Wednesday cooler air will have moved back into Central Oregon. Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s, so we’re still above average! Our average daytime high at the airport in Redmond is 67 degrees now. There’s a chance for rain showers throughout the day on Wednesday especially in the evening.
Rounding out the week we look to stay dry with a slight chance for afternoon showers or thunderstorms. Overall, we will see partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
