CNG gas line project closing NW 14th Friday night

Bend’s Northwest 14th Street, between Galveston and Newport avenues, will be closed Friday night as Cascade Natural Gas crews replace aging gas lines with new ones.

From 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., both southbound and northbound lanes will be closed. The roundabouts on each end of the closure will still be open, except for the turns onto 14th.

Motorists are encouraged to consider alternate routes.
