KTVZ

Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!

Thunderstorms will continue for the area heading into sunset tonight. Expect winds to pick up within these storms and downpours are likely. Overall, scattered rain showers will wrap up by midnight tonight. Winds will stay out of the north and northwest gusting around 15 miles per hour.

Overnight expect partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. Lows will be above average in the 40s and lower 50s.

Thursday begins with some sunbreaks, but partly cloudy skies. Clouds will increase by lunchtime and that’s when our chance for rain showers kicks up. There’s also a chance for thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon as well. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s, which is above average.

By Friday cooler temperatures will move back into the High Desert. Highs will be a few degrees below average (now 70 degrees!) in the low to mid 60s. Some rain showers linger throughout the day on Friday and overnight into Saturday.

Saturday begins with the slight chance for showers and partly sunny skies. The Cascades could see a few light rain showers wrapping up earlier in the day on Saturday. We’ll see improving conditions throughout the weekend. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s on Saturday and mid to upper 70s on Sunday.

Memorial Day will be beautiful for ceremonies and gatherings. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s with sunny skies.
