Sen. Wyden plans June 1 town hall in Prineville

Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will hold town halls next week in Lake and Crook counties.

This upcoming town halls on Thursday, May 31 in Lake County and Friday, June 1 in Crook County will increase to 899 the number of town halls Wyden has held since pledging when first elected to hold annual town halls in each of Oregon’s 36 counties.

“Throwing open the doors of government for town halls where any person can ask any question in a public meeting is a big part in what I call the ‘Oregon Way,'” Wyden said. “I look forward very much to continuing these conversations in Lake and Crook counties.”

The town hall schedule is as follows:

Thursday, May 31

LAKE COUNTY: 11 am, Community Center, 705 Chewaucan St., Paisley

Friday, June 1

CROOK COUNTY: 1 pm, Crook County Library, Broughton Room, 175 NW Meadow Lakes Dr., Prineville
