Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 5.25.18

KTVZ

Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
An abundant amount of moisture moving in from the south and se will bring rain, heavy at times, and some scattered thunderstorms to much of the region throughout the day. Highs will be in the mid 60’s and NW winds at 5-15 mph will gust as high as 20-25 mph. We will cling to a chance of rain showers through the night. Lows will be in the 40’s and NW wind will stay breezy at 5-15 mph.
The chance of showers will taper off through Saturday morning and from there the conditions for the holiday weekend will continue to improve. By Memorial Day we will see sunny skies and daytime highs that climb back into the low 80’s. Modest cooling will have us back into the low 70’s under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies through the middle of next week.
