Local Alert Weather – Thurs. PM
Happy Thursday evening, everyone!
Tonight will be breezy as a westerly flow continues to move across the region. Winds will gust 25 miles per hour through midnight, then will gust around 15 overnight. Lows will be quite cold tomorrow morning, so cover up your plants once again. Temperatures will begin in the upper 20s and lower 30s, which is below average. Skies will gradually clear overhead through the overnight hours.
We wake up to a cold, sunny start across Central Oregon. We’ll quickly warm underneath the sunshine. You’ll want a warm coat when you’re leaving in the morning, but might not need so many layers by the afternoon. Highs for Friday top out in the upper 60s and lower 70s, which is spot on for average temperatures.
The first weekend of June brings us mostly sunny skies with warm temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. If you’re planning on some outdoor fun pack the sunscreen, extra water, and allergy medicine! Pollen levels are high for grass and moderate for trees.
Sunday brings windy conditions at times as the next disturbance moves inland. Winds will gust about 30 miles per hour out of the west. By Monday we’ll see cooler daytime highs in the mid to upper 60s.
