Local Alert Weather 0609 PM

KTVZ

Hello everyone!

What a change in our weather over the past 24 hours! We had daytime highs in the low to mid 50’s today, which is about 20 degrees below average and a 30 degree drop in temps over the past 24 hours. The cold front has passed through and brought with it some early morning rain showers. Throughout the day we’ve had scattered showers and that will continue tonight. Winds are up to 20 miles per hour and will remain breezy tonight. Overnight lows will be cold in the mid to upper 30’s.

The cold weather sticks around tomorrow. Daytime highs will be in the low 60’s. Winds stay strong at 10 to 15 miles per hour. There’s a slight chance of rain showers. For the most part, Central Oregon remains mostly cloudy.

Monday things begin to change for us. Skies begin to break up and become sunny by the beginning of our work week. Daytime highs will be back around average and the warm up will continue. Tuesday will be the warmest day of the week with daytime highs in the low 80’s.

Clouds push back in Wednesday, which will cause our temperatures to dip just a touch into the mid to upper 70’s. We remain dry and sunny for the upcoming weekend.
