Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 6.12.18

KTVZ

Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
High pressure will dominate the weather picture for the entire western United States today. That will spell sunny, warm conditions for the High Desert today. Highs will be in the low to mid 80’s and easterly breezes will stay gentle at 5-10 mph. A few clouds will build in tonight, but there will be no threat of showers. Lows will be in the 40’s and gentle northerly breezes will turn SW after midnight.
Today looks to be the warmest day of the week, but the rest of the week and into the weekend is actually looking quite fair. Skies will vary from mostly sunny to partly cloudy and daytime highs will be in the low to mid 70’s…pretty typical for this time of year. Those highs will climb back into the low to mid 80’s Sunday and Monday. There is also an indication in the forecast models that we may see a slight chance of an isolate shower or two on those days. That is something we will continue to track for you.
