Local Alert Weather – Thurs. PM
Happy Thursday evening, everyone!
Winds won’t be nearly as strong as we saw last night. Gusts will top out around 20 miles per hour out of the north. Central Oregon has seen some clouds develop this afternoon and they will stick around until about midnight.
Overnight clouds will clear out and we’ll start with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies tomorrow morning. Temperatures will dip into the 30s for overnight lows, so we’ll be off to a chilly start.
Friday sees sunshine through the afternoon before clouds develop once again. Highs will be a little below average in the low to mid 70s. Winds will gust around 25 miles per hour tomorrow.
Heading into the weekend we’ll see more clouds overhead than what we’ve seen this week. Highs will still be in the low to mid 70s. In the afternoon on Saturday we have the chance for a few showers east of the Cascades. There will also be a slight chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Father’s Day will be nearly identical to Saturday. Although we’ll see a better chance for showers in the morning than the afternoon.
Next week will feel just like summer, which is fitting because the First Day of Summer is Thursday, June 21. Temperatures will be in the mid 80s with mostly sunny skies overhead.
