Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM

KTVZ

Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!

As a weak trough moves through the region we’ll see wind speeds pick up. Gusts tonight will top around 30 miles per hour around sunset. Clouds will gradually increase tonight. Around sunset we’ll see mostly clear to partly cloudy skies.

Overnight we’ll see a very slight chance for a few sprinkles drifting east of the Cascades. Other than that very slight chance we’ll see partly cloudy skies give way to mostly clear skies by the morning. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s to start the day tomorrow.

We’ll wake up to sunshine tomorrow morning. We’re expecting sunny skies through the morning and into the afternoon. By the late afternoon and early evening we’ll see some clouds develop east of the Cascades, but overall we’ll still see mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s for daytime highs. Winds will still be breezy gusting around 25 miles per hour in the evening.

By Friday winds will have calmed and temperatures will begin to warm. We’ll see temperatures in the mid to upper 70s with sunny skies to round out the week.

This weekend daytime highs will be in the mid 80s with plenty of sunshine overhead. Sunday will see breezy conditions at times as the next weak disturbance moves inland. We’ll see mostly sunny skies.

Remember the sunscreen and to stay hydrated!
