Man fatally shot at home in East Portland
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police say a man shot at a home in East Portland died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Portland police Sgt. Chris Burley says no suspects were at the house when officers responded to reports of gunfire late Sunday and found the victim.
Burley says the agency does not believe the shooter is an immediate danger to the community. Homicide detectives have yet to release a description of the suspect.
