Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
A RED FLAG OR FIRE WEATHER WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR MOST OF CENTRAL OREGON FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY HOLIDAY. THE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 P.M. TO 10 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 4. WINDS WILL BE BREEZY AND CONDITIONS WILL BE DRY. BE SAFE WHILE HANDLING FIREWORKS AS IF ANY FIRE STARTS IT WOULD SPREAD RAPIDLY.
Tonight will be calm with slightly breezy winds at times. Gusts will top around 20 miles per hour out of the north and west. We’ll see a few clouds overnight going into tomorrow. Overnight lows will be much warmer tomorrow morning. We’ll see temperatures in the low to mid 40s to start the day.
The Fourth of July will bring warm to hot temperatures, gusty winds, and dry conditions. Overhead we’ll see some clouds in the morning and afternoon, but overall we’ll see mostly sunny skies. Winds will kick up in the afternoon and evening. We’ll see gusts around 25 to 35 miles per hour.
Thursday will be our warmest day of the week with highs in the low to mid 90s. We’ll also see mostly sunny skies. Prepare now with extra water and get the sunscreen ready!
This weekend will see mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
