Here’s the city of Bend’s road and traffic report for the week of July 16-22:
Special Events:
· Summer Fest, July 13 – 15, will take place in Old Downtown Bend and will close the following streets:
o Friday
§ Minnesota Avenue between Bond Street and Lava Road
§ Oregon Avenue between Wall Street and Bond Street
o Saturday – Sunday
§ Wall Street between Greenwood Avenue and Franklin Avenue
§ Oregon Avenue between Brooks Street and Bond Street
§ Oregon Avenue between Bond Street and Lava Road
§ Minnesota Avenue between Wall Street and Bond Street
§ Minnesota Avenue between Bond Street and Lava Road
· Deschutes Dash, July 14 from 6 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., will have significant impact on Century Drive and Columbia Street, please follow detours and flagger directions, road closures with local access only:
o Century Drive between Skyline Ranch Road and Reed Market Road
o Century Drive between Reed Market Road and Colorado Avenue
o Colorado Avenue Century Drive and Columbia Street
o Columbia Street between Colorado Avenue and Shevlin Hixon Drive
Weekly Road and Traffic Report
For the week of:
July 16 – 22
· Mt. Washington Drive between Shevlin Park Road and Chandler Avenue for pavement milling, road closures with detours, 7/18/18 – 7/19/18, night work from 7 p.m. – 6 a.m.
· Butler Market Road between Huettl Lane and Rumgay Lane for roadway improvements, northbound lane shift into center lane, 7/16/18 – 7/17/18 and 7/23/18 – 7/25/18, 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
· Staats Street between Kansas Avenue and Colorado Avenue for asphalt sand sealing, road closure with detour, 7/17/18, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
· Georgia Avenue between Broadway Street and Lava Road for asphalt sand sealing, road closure with detour, 7/18/18, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Ongoing Closures:
· 14 th Street between Galveston Avenue and Newport Avenue for work on the 14 th Street Reconstruction Project, full road closure (southbound and northbound lanes) with detours in place. For project and detour info: www.bendoregon.gov/14thstreet .
· Roosevelt Avenue between Silver Lake Boulevard and Taft Avenue for water main replacement, road closure with local traffic access only, detours marked for thru traffic, anticipated end in early August. · Egypt Drive between 18 th Street and Ranch Village Drive for City of Bend Egypt Water Line Project, road and lane closures, 6/15/18 – 8/26/18.
o Access to Rockridge Park will be maintained by entering on the west side of Egypt Drive off of Ranch Village Drive, starting on July 10 th .
Upcoming Closures:
· Mt. Washington Drive between Shevlin Park Road and Chandler Avenue for milling and paving, road closures with detours, 7/22/18 – 7/27/18, night work from 7 p.m. – 6 a.m.
· Neff Road between Purcell Boulevard and Shepard Road for pedestrian refuge island replacement, center and eastbound lane closures with flaggers, 7/23/18 – 7/24/18, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.
