Friday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good Evening Central Oregon and Happy Friday!

Another hot day for us today and a bit breezy as well at times.

We do have a fire weather waning in place for much of Central Oregon this evening, and that is set to expire at 11 o’clock.

This evening we will see winds out of the northwest at 10-15 MPH with gusts up around 20 MPH.

There is also a heat advisory in place as well with this heat wave that is moving through the region.

Remember to drink plenty of fluids, wear sunscreen and check in on children and the elderly as they are more likely to be effected by heat related illnesses.

Today we saw hot temperatures in the upper 90s and even at the 100 degree mark for some places across the high desert.

It looks like this trend of hot weather is going to stick with us through the weekend as well.

Overnight tonight lows will be on the warm side once again in the mid to upper 50s and low 60s.

Tomorrow we will heat up again with highs in the 90s across the board, but we will see some cloudier skies across the region.

We will stay in the 90s for rest of the weekend and there looks to be no cool down in sight as of right now with temperatures in the 90s for the rest of the work week!

Enjoy your weekend Central Oregon!
