Sunday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Happy Sunday Central Oregon!

Another hot day for us across the region, and we are seeing some more cloud coverage for much of the region this evening as well.

This is due to a system that is moving through Central Oregon, and with it we see a chance of some thunderstorms this evening.

Because of the chance for storms and gusty winds this evening, there is a red flag warning or fire weather warning for much of Central Oregon that has been put into place until 11 o’clock this evening.

The 20 percent chance of storms is going to stick with us through the evening before things clear up a bit overnight.

With these storms we could see gusty winds at times as well, winds are out of the northwest at about 5-10 MPH for this evening gusting up around 20 MPH.

Overnight tonight lows will be on the warmer side once again for us in the 50s for the region.

Another hot day for Monday is on the way and we will see the clouds hang around for much of the day on Monday, and there is a slight chance that we could see some more storms move through the region in the afternoon and evening hours.

Tomorrow we will once again be in the 90s, and some areas could hit that 100 degree point out there.

We are going to stay hot and dry for a while now as we stay in the 90s through the week!
