ODOT Region 4 construction update: Week of July 30
Here is the ODOT Region 4 construction update for the week of July 30:
The Oregon Department of Transportation is committed to providing a safe, efficient transportation system. ODOT invests in Oregon’s future through roadway improvement projects. The following projects are located in ODOT’s Region 4 encompassing Central Oregon from The Dalles to Klamath Falls on the east side of the Cascades.
All work is dependent on weather conditions and schedules are subject to change.
Where traffic is routed through or around a work zone, pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will also be provided alternate routes through the work zone.
Crook County
OR 126 @ Tom McCall Roundabout – Alex Hodge Construction will be grinding and paving the tie-ins to the new Tom McCall and other connecting roads south of the roundabout, as well as installing new sidewalks and signs. There may be flagging operations on side roads, but no traffic impacts are expected to Hwy 126.
Deschutes County
US 97: Sunriver Interchange to OR 31 – Roy Houck Construction will continue excavating and installing storm drains, sidewalks and ramps on the westside of US 97 in La Pine. There will be shoulder closures and slow traffic. Contractor will also be grinding and paving at night between Sunriver and La Pine, with one-way traffic with flaggers and pilot cars between 7 pm and 7 am, with traffic delays of up to 20 minutes.
US 20: Jack Lake Road to Pine Street (Sisters) – Oregon Mainline Paving will be overlaying the passing lanes and working on approaches. Work will occur Sunday to Thursday night. There will be one-way traffic with flaggers and pilot cars between 7 pm and 7 am, with traffic delays of up to 20 minutes.
Jefferson County
US 97: US 26 Jct. to NW 10th Street (Madras – Terrebonne) – Knife River will be installing striping and other safety features Sunday to Thursday nights. There will be one-way traffic with flaggers and pilot cars between 7 pm and 7 am, with traffic delays of up to 20 minutes. There may be shoulder work during the day, and passing lanes may be closed.
US 97: Spanish Hollow Creek & Trout Creek Bridges – Stellar J Corporation is performing bridge replacement work. Traffic is reduced to a single lane through the work zone and is controlled by temporary signals, minor delays anticipated.
Klamath County
OR 140: Buck Creek Bridge – Marcum & Sons Construction is replacing the Buck Creek Bridge (MP 22). Traffic will be controlled by a temporary signal and limited to a single lane. Work will take place Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Drivers can expect delays up to 10 minutes.
OR 140: Brown Creek (Beatty) – La Duke Construction will be completing shoulder work. Expect minor delays.
OR 140: Greensprings Interchange to Klamath Falls/Malin Hwy – Rocky Mountain Construction will be completing shoulder work, installing signs and concrete sidewalk. Minor delays are expected.
US 97: Algoma Road to Miller Island Road – Paving can be expected between the hours of 7pm and 7am, Sunday and Monday night. The work zone will be controlled with flaggers and pilot cars. Drivers can expect delays up to 20 minutes.
US 97: Spring Creek Hill to Modoc Point – Rocky Mountain Construction will be paving between the hours of 7pm and 7am, Sunday and Monday night. The work zone will be controlled with flaggers and pilot cars. Drivers can expect delays up to 20 minutes.
Lake County
US 395: South Fork Crane Creek – Marcum & Sons will be onsite replacing the box culvert. Expect single lane detours, controlled by flaggers, and delays up to 20 minutes.
OR 140: Antelope Creek to Odegaard Road – LaDuke Construction will be on site completing paving, earthwork and shoulder work. Expect 20 minutes delays.
Sherman County
US 97: Spanish Hollow Creek & Trout Creek Bridges – The contractor will be performing work onsite 24 hours a day, and will have sinlge closures controlled with flaggers periodically. Expect minimal Delays.
US 97: Shaniko to Trout Creek – High Desert Aggregate and Paving will not be on site until late August.
Wasco County
I-84: Hood River to Tower Road – Oregon Mainline Paving will be onsite this week installing pavement markers and sign footings from MP 76 to MP 64. There will be single lane closures east and west-bound. Expect no delays.
Various
Region 4 Curve Warning Signs – Baker Rock Resources will be installing signs on the Paulina Highway (OR 380). There may be one-way traffic with flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes.
