Tuesday AM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good morning Central Oregon!

Hot and hazy once again for us across the region on this Tuesday!

We are going to see temperatures push towards the triple digits today across the region.

A bit breezy at times this afternoon as well with the wind coming from the north at 5-10 MPH, but that breeze should die down in the evening hours.

We warm up out there quickly today, and we should reach 90 degrees by noon for much of the region.

The air quality is also at a moderate level for much of Central Oregon due to the smoky skies, so if you are unusually sensitive to air pollution you should be careful when outside today.

Overnight tonight lows will be warm in the 50s to 60s across the region.

Things are set to warm up once again for Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures right around 105 for those two days, and because of the hot heat there is an excessive heat warning set to go into effect Wednesday morning.

Stay cool out there today Central Oregon!
