The Education Foundation for Bend-La Pine Schools received a generous $4,000 grant from the US Bank Foundation towards arts and wellness classroom grants for the 2018-2019 school year.

“We are so thankful for the continued support of US Bank towards art and wellness requests within our classroom grants program. Business support is vital to funding innovative programs that prepare our students in Bend, La Pine and Sunriver to be future ready,” said Michelle Johnson, Executive Director.

The Education Foundation celebrates 30 years of service to the K-12 educational community this school year. Since its inception in 1988, over $1.5 million has been invested into public schools through the various programs supported by the Foundation.

The Education Foundation provides financial resources and tools to teachers and schools as well as supporting needs-based middle and high school students to participate in athletics. The Foundation’s work affects the greater population of 18,30 students and 2000 educators and staff equitably within the Bend-La Pine school district.
