Friday Local Alert Weather Forecast
Good morning Central Oregon and happy Friday!
Another hot and hazy day for us on the high desert, but it looks like this is the last day of the hazy conditions at least for a little while.
Today highs will be a little cooler then where we saw things top out yesterday, but they will still be hot in the 90s across the region.
There is a heat advisory that is in effect for parts of the tri-county area, mostly in the eastern parts of Jefferson, Crook and Deschutes Counties.
We’re also set to see the wind pick up out there as we move into the afternoon hours.
Wind will be out of the west at 10-15 MPH but we could see gusts up around 25 MPH in the evening hours as well.
Overnight tonight, we cool off nicely with lows in the 40s to 50s across the high desert.
Tonight it looks like the haze should move out of the region making way for sunny skies and cooler temperatures to start the weekend on Saturday.
Highs in the 80s for Saturday, and we should see that wind stick with us to start the weekend as well!
Highs will be in the 80s for Sunday as well!
Enjoy your Friday Central Oregon!
