Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM
Happy Monday evening, everyone!
Today we topped out exactly at average today in Redmond: 86 degrees. Winds will gust around 25 miles per hour through the end of this evening. Skies will stay a little on the smoky side, and we’ll likely see our air quality levels suffer over the next few days.
Overnight we’ll see hazy skies with mostly clear skies overhead. Lows will be in the mid to upper 40s and lower 50s by early tomorrow morning.
We’ll wake up to smoky skies and chilly temperatures, but we’ll quickly warm. Temperatures will top out in the upper 80s and low to mid 90s, which is above average for daytime highs. Winds will gust around 20 miles per hour in the afternoon. Skies will stay mostly sunny with hazy conditions.
Heading into the middle of the week a system will move up from the south bringing some moisture. Central Oregon will notice some clouds overhead on Wednesday. We have a slight chance for thunderstorms in the second half of the day on Wednesday and even overnight into Thursday. We’re keeping a close eye on this as it is very dry.
Temperatures stay in the 90s through Thursday and overnight lows will stay in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
By Friday we’ll see temperatures in the mid to upper 80s with sunny skies.
