Local Alert Weather – Saturday

KTVZ

Happy Saturday, everyone!

Saturday begins on a cool note with temperatures in the lower 40s for many. We’ll warm into the low to mid 70s, which is below average for this time of year. We’ll start with sunny skies Saturday and a little smoke.

Smoke will come and go over the course of the weekend from the Terwilliger Fire burning in the Willamette National Forest at Cougar Reservoir.

Clouds will push in from the northwest by lunchtime, so we’ll end the day with partly cloudy skies. Winds will gust around 20 miles per hour out of the northwest.

Temperatures remain chilly for the weekend as we’ll be below average. We’ll see some clouds throughout the weekend, but not nearly as much smoke as we saw this week.

Next week will see warmer temperatures back to the upper 70s and lower 80s. Smoke is expected to make a return midweek.

Stay up to date with all the fires burning in our area on our Fire Alert page.

Have a happy & safe weekend!
