This fall, the Central Oregon Association of REALTORS (COAR) will host a series of free public debates for the 2018 November election. The series will include races throughout Central Oregon – from city councils to state House races.
COAR has partnered with KTVZ NewsChannel 21 on the events, and Lee Anderson – anchor and producer with KTVZ – will serve as the moderator. The series will begin with the Deschutes County Commission Debate on Sept. 10, 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
County debates will focus on land use, housing and infrastructure. House debates will focus on land use, housing and taxes. City level debates will focus on affordable housing, growth, transportation and infrastructure.
