Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM

KTVZ

Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!

We’ve seen cloudy skies throughout the morning, but this afternoon brought some blue sky. Temperatures are on the chilly side for today with many locations sitting in the 60s. We’ll see winds this evening gusting around 15 miles per hour out of the northwest.

A system is dragging some scattered showers up to the Cascades, which should stay in the mountains. Central Oregon has a slight chance overnight for a few sprinkles, but we’re mainly just looking at cloudy skies. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 30s, which is below average.

Another chilly day is ahead for tomorrow with partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s, which is more than 10 degrees below average. Overnight into Wednesday there is also a slight chance for rain showers.

Overnight lows will be cold for the next several nights, so if you have any plants you’re concerned about I would cover them up.

Heading into the weekend we’ll see temperatures in the 60s. The weekend should stay dry with partly cloudy skies and below average temperatures. Next week we’ll see temperatures bounce back into the 70s.
