KTVZ

Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!

Tonight skies stay clear as a beautiful sunset is expected. Sunset tonight is 6:56 p.m. and we’ll see another night with a bright moon! The full moon was Monday night. Winds will be out of the north around 10 to 15 miles per hour around that time.

Overnight we’ll see clear skies and cool temperatures. Lows will fall into the low to mid 30s, which is average. Winds will be light and variable after midnight.

High pressure extends over the region for the next few days keeping our skies clear and any disturbances well out of our area.

Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the mid to upper 80s, which will make it more than 10 degrees above normal. Friday will be sunny as well, but temperatures will be slightly cooler in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Enjoy the sunshine and warm temperatures because it will feel much more like fall by Saturday!

The weekend sees increased clouds, cooler temperatures, and chances for showers. The chance for showers really kicks up by the end of the day on Saturday. Overnight into Sunday we have the chance for an isolated thunderstorm as instability arrives.

Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 60s by Sunday, which is below average for this time of year.
