Tuesday AM Local Alert Weather, 10.9.18

KTVZ

Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…

We sit at the fringe of a cold, wet air flow that will bring a mixed bag of condtions to Central Oregon today. While we will all stay pretty chilly, areas to our east and north will be more likely to see rain showers throughout the day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50’s and NW winds will pick up to 10-20 mph, with gusts to 25 mph.

Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy tonight with some areas experiencing isolated showers. Overnight lows will dip to the low to mid 30’s; upper elevations to our south will see temps in the 20’s. NW winds will stay pretty blustery going into this evening and then become lighter overnight.

While Wednesday will stay chilly, high in the 50’s, storm activity will break up as high pressure begins to gain strength over our area. With clearer skies will come warmer temps. We will see plenty of sunshine by Thursday as highs climb back to the mid to upper 60’s. These fair conditions will stay with us through the weekend and into next week.

HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
