FBI investigates fatal shooting at Tacoma casino
TACOMA, Wash. (AP) – The FBI is investigating after a Puyallup tribal police officer fatally shot a 45-year-old man outside the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington.
KOMO reports that details about the early Tuesday incident were scarce and police have not said what led up to the shooting.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Donald Judd.
The Puyallup Tribe said in a statement that the tribal officer has been put on paid administrative leave during the investigation.
FBI agents were at the scene investigating, according to FBI spokeswoman Ayn S. Dietrich-Williams.
