Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM
Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
Tonight we’ll see clouds gradually break up as a front moves through the region. The front has helped bring most of Central Oregon’s air quality back to “good”. Winds are breezy at times gusting 20 to 25 miles per hour. A few light rain showers will taper off as the clouds turn to mostly clear skies as we approach midnight.
After midnight we’ll see partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will be a little warmer than they were last night because of these clouds. We’ll see temperatures in the low to mid 30s.
Tomorrow wakes up to partly cloudy skies and will see mostly cloudy to overcast skies through the late morning and early afternoon. Temperatures will be much cooler in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Our average daytime high is 60 degrees at Roberts Field in Redmond.
We’ll stay dry for Wednesday with mostly cloudy skies overhead. Thursday is looking mainly dry as well through the afternoon. We could see a few light showers by the end of the day Thursday. Highs will be in the mid 60s.
Friday looks to be our best chance for rain showers as of now, so expect a few showers towards the end of the day. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies apart from the chance for rain showers. Friday will be chilly with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
This weekend is looking dry and mild. We’ll see variable cloud cover, but at this point we are not expecting any showers. Daytime highs will be a little above average in the low to mid 60s.
