Local Alert Weather, Thu. AM, 10.25.18

KTVZ

Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…
A wet system moving in off the Pacific will expend most of its energy on the coast, the valley and the Cascades today. That will leave Central Oregon under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the mid 60s with 5-10 mph breezes out of the south and SE. Clouds will thicken tonight, but only a few areas will see any chance of showers. Lows will be in the 40s and breezes will remain gentle out of the SE.
Rain is more likely Friday and that will taper off Friday night. Saturday promises to be a pretty pleasant day with highs in the mid 60s under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. The next bout of rain will settle in Sunday. While it is not likely to be very heavy, it will stretch into Monday. It is all part of a cold front, the passage of which will leave us pretty chilly Monday and Tuesday. Highs then will only reach the low to mid 50’s. Cool temps will last through Wednesday when we see another chance of scattered showers.
