Bend man arrested after DUII crash injures 2 passengers
A 21-year-old Bend man was arrested on DUII and other charges early Saturday after crashing his car on the city’s Westside, injuring two passengers, police said.
Police and Bend Fire medics were dispatched shortly after 2 a.m. to the single-vehicle crash in the area of Skyliners Road and Flagline Drive, police Corporal Kyle Voll said.
Officers arrived to find the car off the road and high-centered on a large rock.
They contacted the driver, Trey Bracelin, and determined he was driving under the influence of alcohol, Voll said. He was arrested on charges of DUII, third- and fourth-degree assault and two counts of recklessly endangering.
Passenger Diala Villavicenzio, 22, of Bend, was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. Another passenger, Jordan Frystalk, 21, also of Bend, was taken to St. Charles Bend for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
“Speed and alcohol were the contributing factors in this crash,” Voll said in a news release.
Bracelin was booked into the Deschutes County Jail shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday and was released around 6:40 a.m. to a responsible third party, a jail officer said.
