Good Monday Morning, Everyone…

With overnight lows dipping into the 30’s for everyone many found the precipitation that fell last night came in the form of snow. That made for some hazardous driving on the mountain passes and at the upper elevations right here in Central Oregon. We will see a chance of showers continuing to push through the region right into the afternoon, but with temps reaching the upper 40’s to mid 50’s it will be rain we see. With these chilly daytime highs we will see westerly breezes at 5-15 mph.

We will be colder tonight with lows dipping into the 20’s for most and upper elevations dropping into the teens. Under partly cloudy skies breezes will turn gentle out of the south.

Tuesday will stay partly cloudy, but it will also stay cool with highs in the mid 50’s. The next chance of showers will roll through Wednesday. Right now it looks like a slight chance of scattered showers, so it doesn’t look like it will be a spoiler for Trick or Treat’ers…at this point. Wednesday also marks the beginning of a warming trend that will have us back into the mid 60’s by Friday. This will also mean rising freezing levels, so I don’t think the snow that fell on Mt. Bachelor last night (5-8″) will be sticking around. Next weekend looks to be pretty pleasant with highs in the upper 50’s and partly cloudy skies.

HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
