Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

KTVZ

Happy Monday evening, everyone!

Our active weather pattern continues for the next several days. Scattered snow shower activity will taper off around midnight tonight for the mountains. The passes will likely see a rain/snow mix getting closer to the end of the showers as temperatures fall, so know the roads will be slick. The High Desert has a slight chance of a few showers drifting our way tonight, but overall we’ll see mostly cloudy skies.

Overnight we see rain shower chances fall and our skies become clearer. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies turn partly cloudy as we get into tomorrow morning. As we see temperatures fall we could see some slick spots around Central Oregon on the roadways. Overnight lows will be cold tomorrow morning in the 20s with mostly clear skies.

Tomorrow will be dry with partly cloudy skies. At times we’ll see mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 50s, so it will be another chilly day.

As we head into Wednesday the next system will push down from the northwest. Snow levels will be much higher hovering around 8,500′ in the mountains, so we’ll be seeing more rain out of this than anything else.

Rain showers will arrive for Central Oregon by the time we wake up on Halloween. We’ll see occasional showers throughout the day, but current models are showing the showers missing Central Oregon by midday. Stay updated with us as we get closer!

Heading into the end of the week we’ll see temperatures warm into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Thursday through Sunday are looking dry. Sunday would bring our next best chance for rain showers.
