ODOT Region 4 construction update: Week of Oct. 29

Here is the Oregon Department of Transportation Region 4 weekly construction update for the week of Oct. 29:

The Oregon Department of Transportation is committed to providing a safe, efficient transportation system. ODOT invests in Oregon’s future through roadway improvement projects. The following projects are located in ODOT’s Region 4 encompassing Central Oregon from The Dalles to Klamath Falls on the east side of the Cascades.

All work is dependent on weather conditions and schedules are subject to change.

Where traffic is routed through or around a work zone, pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will also be provided alternate routes through the work zone.

Crook County

OR 126 @ Tom McCall Roundabout (Prineville) – Contract is complete except for corrective work. There may be shoulder work during the day and lane closures at night.

Deschutes County

US 97 at Wickiup Junction (La Pine) – Farline Bridge, Inc. will be removing the girders. Work will be occurring off of highway; no traffic impacts are anticipated.

US 97: Sunriver Interchange to OR 31 (La Pine) – Roy Houck Construction will be installing light poles and landscaping on US 97 in La Pine. The Contractor will also be installing striping at night on US97 between Sunriver and OR 31, with one-way traffic with flaggers and pilot cars between 6 pm and 7 am, with traffic delays of up to 20 minutes.

US 20: Jack Lake Road to Pine Street (Sisters) – Contract is complete except for corrective work. There may be shoulder work during the day. No traffic impacts are are anticipated.

Jefferson County

US 97: US 26 Jct. to NW 10th Street (Madras – Terrebonne) – Contract is complete except for corrective work. There may be shoulder work during the day. No traffic impacts are are anticipated.

US 97: Spanish Hollow Creek & Trout Creek Bridges – Stellar J Corporation is performing bridge replacement work. Traffic is reduced to a single lane through the work zone and is controlled by temporary signals, minor delays anticipated. Occasional flagger controlled one-way traffic may be required.

Klamath County

OR 140: Buck Creek Bridge – No work is expected.

OR 140: Brown Creek (Beatty) – La Duke Construction will be completing cleanup and shoulder work. No delays are expected.

OR 140: Greensprings Interchange to Klamath Falls/Malin Hwy – Rocky Mountain Construction will be completing sidewalk and shoulder work during the day. Minor delays are expected.

US 97: Algoma Road to Miller Island Road – No work is expected.

US 97: Spring Creek Hill to Modoc Point – Rocky Mountain Construction will be on site completing striping and rumble strip work work at night from 4pm to 7am Sunday night through Friday morning. Delays up to 20 minutes are expected.

Lake County

US 395: South Fork Crane Creek – Marcum and Sons will be onsite completing fence, curb and clean up work. Expect minor delays.

OR140: Antelope Creek to Odegaard Road – The contractor will be completing seeding, planting and cleanup work. Expect minor delays.

Sherman County

US 97: Spanish Hollow Creek & Trout Creek Bridges

US 97 at MP 0.4 – Stellar J Corporation is completing bridge removal, pile driving, and the first stage of bridge construction. One way traffic will be controlled continuously by a temporary signal. Occasional flagger controlled one-way traffic may be required. US 97 at MP 3.1 and 3.2 – Stellar J Corporation is completing seismic retrofit substructure work. Occasional flagger controlled one-way traffic may be required.Expect minimal Delays. US 97: Shaniko to Trout Creek – High Desert Aggregate and Paving will be performing single closures to pave the travel lanes on US 97 Sunday through Thursday from 7pm – 7am between MP 69.50 to MP 75. The Contractor will be controlling traffic with pilot cars and flaggers. Expect 10 – 20 minute delays.

Various

Region 4 Curve Warning Signs – Baker Rock Resources will be performing corrective work on numerous highways. There may be one-way traffic with flaggers and traffic delays of up to 20 minutes.
