Happy Halloween, everyone!
Grab the umbrella as you’re heading out for trick-or-treating tonight. We’ll see a few showers across Central Oregon during prime sidewalking time between 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. I would keep the hood handy this evening and bundle up!
Overnight our shower chances dwindle and we’ll see overcast skies. Some showers will stay in the mountains in the form of rain. Lows will be quite mild and well above average in the low to mid 40s.
Tomorrow begins with cloudy skies and temperatures in the low to mid 40s. We’ll see skies gradually clear by the afternoon. We’ll see mostly sunny skies for the second half of the day. Tomorrow will also be our warmest day of the week with highs in the low to mid 60s.
By Friday the next system moves inland kicking up our winds and chances for showers. Early Friday morning expect clouds to roll in quickly followed by some light rain. Showers shouldn’t last long. Winds will gust around Highs will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds will be rather gusty on Friday topping 30 miles per hour.
Saturday looks to be cloudy, but dry and a little cooler. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s. Mostly cloudy skies are expected. Sunday looks at another chance for light rain showers, but clouds apart from that chance. Highs will also be in the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s.
We then begin to dry out heading into the week ahead. Temperatures will get back to average in the mid 50s. Clouds will vary overhead.
