The Education Foundation for Bend-La Pine Schools received $3,000 from D.A. Davidson for the Foundation’s Classroom Grants program that impacts the K-12 educational community in Bend, La Pine and Sunriver.

“Having been a board member and a parent of two Bend-La Pine District school students, I’ve witnessed the strong impact that innovative classroom grants have on both students and teachers. D.A. Davidson is proud to continue to support this important program.” said Steve Lelli, Senior Vice President, D.A. Davidson.

The Education Foundation provides financial resources and tools to teachers and schools for innovative STEM, art, music and wellness classroom grants, as well as supporting needs-based middle and high school students to participate in athletics.

Scholarships for Latino students and Perseverance Award recipients are also Foundation programs. The Foundation’s work affects the greater population of 18,500 students and 2000 educators and staff equitably within the Bend-La Pine school district.
