Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

KTVZ

Happy Monday evening, everyone!

A few showers are wrapping up across the Cascades overnight as a flow of moisture continues. Snow levels are around 4,600′ tonight, so we’ll be looking at maybe another 1-2″ of snow across the ski areas by tomorrow.

Central Oregon remains dry, but cold. Overnight we’ll see partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Lows will be in the mid to upper 20s overnight, which is right around average. Expect areas of frost in the morning.

Tomorrow sees quite a bit of sunshine once we get into the lunchtime hour. We’ll see partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies in the morning giving way to clearer skies for the second half of the day. Highs will be below average in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Average daytime highs are in the mid 50s in Redmond at the airport.

The next several days will see varying cloud cover and chilly temperatures. We’re not expecting much if any shower activity for the Cascades. The High Desert will be very dry for the extended forecast.

Daytime high temperatures will hover in the low to mid 50s. Overnight lows will be cold in the mid to upper 20s.
