Coffee-stand sales raise $16,000 for vets’ Honor Flights

On Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11, Dutch Bros Central Oregon locations donated more than $16,000 to Honor Flight of Central Oregon, a local nonprofit that sends Korean War veterans to see their memorials in Washington, D.C.

“The Honor Flight of Central Oregon is an amazing organization, we’re happy to be able to partner with them,” said Josh Kimzey, operator of Dutch Bros Central Oregon. “Our veterans have sacrificed so much for all of us, it’s truly an honor to be able to help do something special for them.”

The Honor Flight of Central Oregon is a local nonprofit that sends Korean War veterans to Washington,D.C. The HFCO pays for airfare, food, lodging and transportation, so veterans are able to focus on seeing the monuments erected in honor of their respective service.
