Redmond road closures and delays: Week of Nov. 19

Here is the city of Redmond’s list of road closures and delays for the week of Nov. 19:

City Street Maintenance Operations:

Monday, November 19 thru November 23 – The following traffic disruptions will take place:

Monday, November 19 – Starting at 7:3 0 a.m., SW Evergreen Ave from SW 7 th St to SW 8 th St

SW Evergreen Ave will be closed to thru traffic from SW 7 th St to SW 8 th St for placement and setup of the Holiday Village at Centennial Park. Please use detours or alternate route.

Monday, November 19 thru November 20 – Starting at 7:30 a.m., NW Spruce at NW 13 th St

Asphalt trench patching will occur at NW Spruce Ave at NW 13 th St. Traffic disruptions will occur from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.

Monday, November 19 thru November 20 – Starting at 7:30 a.m., SW Xero Ave at SW Meadow Ln

Asphalt trench patching will occur at SW Xero Ave at SW Meadow Ln. Traffic disruptions will occur from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.

Tuesday, November 20 – Starting at 7:30 a.m., SW 6 th St from SW Deschutes Ave to SW Evergreen Ave

Traffic disruptions will occur on SW 6 th St between SW Deschutes Ave and SW Evergreen Ave beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday as crews apply holiday decorations to the Redmond Arch.

NOTE – During street maintenance operations, closure durations and disruptions are determined by progress of the operation and weather conditions.

*** NEW Closure:

Intersection of NW 15 th St and NW Upas Ave – Closed for construction Monday, November 19 th thru Tuesday, December 4

The intersection of NW Upas Ave and NW 15 th St will be closed while McKernan Enterprises installs a sewer main and manhole. Local access for residents will be permitted.

Ongoing Closures:

SW Metolius Ave from SW 23 rd St to SW 27 th St – Closed for construction Thursday, November 8 thru Friday, November 23

SW Metolius Ave from SW 23 rd St to SW 27 th St will be closed while Rickabaugh Construction crews install sewer and water lines. Local access for residents will be permitted from SW 27 th St.

South Canal Improvement Project

Scheduled Activities for the week of November 19 thru November 23:

SW Veterans Way to SW Obsidian Ave

South Canal Blvd from SW Veterans Way to SW Obsidian Ave will remain closed for construction activities. Please use detours or an alternate route.

SW Obsidian Ave to SW Pumice Ave

South Canal Blvd from SW Obsidian Ave to SW Pumice Ave is open to thru traffic.

SW Pumice Ave to SW Salmon Ave

SW Pumice Ave to SW Salmon Ave will remain closed for construction activities. Local residents and businesses will have access. Please use detours or an alternate route.

The improvement project completion date is set for April 2019. Sections of South Canal Blvd will be closed temporarily during construction, but local access to area homes and businesses will remain open. Weekly project updates can be found online at https://www.southcanalblvd.org/.
