Local Alert Weather, Mon., 11.19.18

KTVZ

Good Monday Morning, Everyone…
Despite sunny skies for many of us today, air stagnation advisories in place for much of the Columbia Basin will likely stretch into our region as our chance of dense fog increases later today. Highs will be in the mid 50’s and winds will remain calm. Patchy, freezing fog will be a factor for us all tonight. Apart from the fog our skies will be clear and overnight lows will dip into the teens. Breezes will be very light out of the SE.
Fog will be a factor for us Tuesday, as well. Watch for reduced visibility in the morning, in particular. Highs will be in the mid 50’s and overnight lows will be in the 20’s. Beginning Wednesday we exchange the fog for rain and those showers will stay with us through thanksgiving and into the end of the week. This storm system will take our temperatures back down to something more normal for this time of year. These cooler temps along with windy conditions will last through the week, as well.
This influx of moisture along with those cooler temps will spell good fortune for Mt. Bachelor. Light snow fall beginning Tuesday night will get heavier and continue right through the weekend.
