AM 11-21 Local Alert Weather

KTVZ

Good morning, Central Oregon!

We start our day very differently than the last few days, with cloudy skies and a pretty good chance of rain. Winds in the morning are calm, but this will change as we make our way through the day. You can expect winds out of the south at 5-10 miles per hour.

Temperatures will be in the high 40s to low 50s throughout Central Oregon today. We are still under the air stagnation advisory in parts of Central Oregon until 1 p.m. today.

The morning begins much warmer than Tuesday, more than 10 degrees in some areas. Highs Tuesday were in the low to mid-50s across the region.

Overnight lows will be in the low to mid-30s, which is much warmer than Tuesday night since we will be under cloud cover.

We will have similar conditions for Thanksgiving, except with a slightly larger chance for rain and a bit stronger winds out of the south.

On the extended forecast, we see a slight chance of a rain-snow mix over the weekend, with cooler temperatures in the mid to high 40s.
