Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 11.27.18
Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
The passage of a powerful cold front will bring breezy conditions and much needed rain to the high desert today. Highs will be fairly mild, in the low to mid 50’s. SW winds at 10-20 mph will be gusting as high as 25-30 mph. Behind that front will be some colder air so don’t be surprised by a little snow mixing in with the rain tonight. Lows will be down to freezing and a bit below. Southerly winds will back off to 5-10 mph.
Mixed showers may start and stop, but they are expected to stay with us through the work week and then diminish going through the weekend. A lengthy cooling trend will take both daytime highs and over night lows down to average through mid-week and below average through the weekend.
