Redmond road closures, delays: Week of Dec. 3

Here’s the city of Redmond’s road closures and delays update for the week of Dec. 3:

Thursday, December 6 – Starting at 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., SW 6 th St between SW Evergreen Ave and SW Forest Ave

SW 6 th St between SW Evergreen Ave and SW Forest Ave will be reduced to one lane while SunWest Builders performs construction activities for the New Redmond Hotel. Traffic disruptions may occur.

NOTE – During street maintenance operations, closure durations and disruptions are determined by progress of the operation and weather conditions.

Ongoing Closures:

NW Spruce Ave from NW 22 nd St to NW 19 th St – Closed for construction thru Sunday, March 31, 2019

NW Spruce Ave from NW 22 nd St to NW 19 th St will be closed while Jack Robinson & Sons constructs the City of Redmond’s Far Wester Sewer Interceptor project. Please use detours or an alternate route.

Intersection of NW 15 th St and NW Upas Ave – Closed for construction thru Tuesday, December 4

The intersection of NW Upas Ave and NW 15 th St will be closed while Mckernan Enterprises installs a sewer main and manhole. Local access for residents will be permitted.

South Canal Improvement Project

Scheduled Activities for the week of December 3 thru December 7:

SW Veterans Way to SW Obsidian Ave

South Canal Blvd from SW Veterans Way to SW Obsidian Ave will remain closed for construction activities. Please use detours or an alternate route.

SW Obsidian Ave to SW Pumice Ave

South Canal Blvd from SW Obsidian Ave to SW Pumice Ave is open to thru traffic.

SW Pumice Ave to SW Salmon Ave

SW Pumice Ave to SW Salmon Ave will remain closed for construction activities. Local residents and businesses will have access. Please use detours or an alternate route.

The improvement project completion date is set for April 2019. Sections of South Canal Blvd will be closed temporarily during construction, but local access to area homes and businesses will remain open. Weekly project updates can be found online at https://www.southcanalblvd.org/.
