Hoodoo Ski Area announces Friday opening
Hoodoo Ski Area near Santiam Pass announced Tuesday it will open its slopes for the 2018-19 season this Friday. The resort, with about 17 inches at its base, said the Manzanita, Ed and Easy Rider lifts will run from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Friday – Sunday with limited grooming but plenty of surface powder for skiing and riding.
A few lanes of Hoodoo’s popular Autobahn Tubing Park will also be open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. this Friday – Saturday. Tubing passes will be just $5 and all guests must walk up the hill for each run as the automated tow will not be operating until more snow falls.
After Sunday, schedule updates will be posted to skihoodoo.com and Hoodoo’s Facebook , Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Hoodoo season passes and AnyCards (five lift tickets that can be used any time with anyone, no exceptions or blackout dates) and gift certificates are available at skihoodoo.com or by calling 541–822-3799.
“In keeping with its reputation as the most family friendly ski area in the Northwest, Hoodoo will continue offering free lift tickets to any child age 7 and under all season long,” the resort said.
