Local Alert Weather – Fri. PM

Happy Friday evening, everyone!
Winds have been gusty today as a cold front makes its way through Oregon. Overnight our winds will be around 25 miles per hour out of the south, so it will be breezy from time to time. We have chances for mixed showers between now and midnight, but we should stay dry for the most part. The passing showers tonight will leave us with some slick spots on the roads when the temperatures fall closer to the freezing mark.
Temperatures will feel chilly for your Friday night if you’re headed out, so dress warmly! The chance for showers dies down around midnight and we’ll be left with mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 20s and lower 30s.
Saturday morning brings a cool start. Slick spots could be possible in the morning due to the showers we saw Friday. We’ll see partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies in the morning. Clouds look like they’ll break up around lunchtime before rolling back in throughout the evening. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s for highs on Saturday which is still above average.
Overnight into Sunday the chance for showers picks up. We’ll look to see a chance for rain showers on Sunday with cloudy skies overall. Highs will be a little warmer in the mid to upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds will be breezy at times on Sunday gusting 25 to 30 miles per hour.
Monday is expected to be dry and mostly cloudy. Winds will still be on the breezy side. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s. Tuesday sees the chance for showers kick back up and we’ll see some rain.
Have a happy & safe weekend!
