KTVZ

Good Monday Morning, Everyone…
The system that brought snow to the mountains overnight will strengthen and move into Central Oregon today. With a mix of rain and snow across the region we will see highs in the upper 30’s to low 40’s along with a light easterly breeze. As lows drop into the 20’s tonight we will see rain turn to snow showers, giving us a chance at seeing a white Christmas morning.
Mt. Bachelor is expecting to get up to a foot of new snow over the next 24 hours, so skiing snowboarding, snow shoeing snowmobiling and other outdoor winter sports will be in great shape. Just be aware that mountain driving will be fairly treacherous.
Temperatures will be cooler for the rest of this holiday week. After a break between systems Tuesday we will see snow showers Wednesday and Thursday. Partly cloudy skies are expected Friday and Saturday, followed by the next system moving in Sunday.

HAVE A SPARKLING CHRISTMAS EVE IN CENTRAL OREGON!
