Happy Friday evening, everyone!
A warm front tonight will bring a chance for mixed showers overnight. We’ll see partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies apart from the chance for showers. Temperatures will be mild for overnight lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Average lows are in the lower 20s. Winds will be light tonight out of the south gusting 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Slick and/or icy roads are expected tonight and tomorrow morning. Be mindful when out on the roads or walking on slippery surfaces!
Saturday will see the effects of the warm front with mild daytime highs. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s, which is above average by almost 10 degrees. Partly cloudy to partly sunny skies are expected during the daylight. Winds will be breezy at times gusting around 20 miles per hour as a cold front approaches. Snow levels begin the day around 6,500′ and fall to 5,000′ by the evening.
Overnight into Sunday we’ll see another chance for mixed showers, but mainly closer to the Cascades and on the east slopes. Shower chances kick up after sunset Saturday and extend through the early morning hours Sunday. Overall, we will see mostly cloudy skies with lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
The cold front leaves snow levels around 2,900′ Sunday morning. Mt. Bachelor will see anywhere from 3-4″ of snow for Sunday. Sunday will see mostly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures in the mid to upper 30s.
We finish 2018 with highs in the mid to upper 30s and mostly sunny skies for Monday. A cold New Year will be with us with overnight lows in the teens and lower 20s for Monday night. New Year’s Day will see highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s with mostly sunny skies.
