Saturday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon and happy Saturday!

We are starting to see some changes in the weather on the high desert as we head into the evening hours.

Overnight tonight we do have a wind advisory in effect for much of Central Oregon.

We are expecting to see winds out of the southwest at 20-25 MPH with gusts up around 40 MPH.

We also have a winter weather advisory in effect for the western slopes of the Cascades as this storm system is getting set to bring some snow with it as well.

It looks like we will be seeing snow here on the High Desert too in the next 24 hours.

Overnight tonight lows will be done in the upper 20s to low 30s, and we will start to see chances for snow flurries into the morning.

Then Sunday afternoon it looks like we will be seeing some wide spread snow for much of the region.

High on Sunday will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.

As we head into the start of the upcoming wee we will still see chances for rain and snow with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s, before things start to dry out by the end of the week.

Have a great weekend Central Oregon!
