Albany man gets 10 years in prison for selling meth
SALEM, Ore. (AP) – An Albany man caught selling substantial quantities of methamphetamine during several undercover narcotics operations has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The Statesman Journal reports 24-year-old Frank Joseph Guida IV pleaded guilty this week to seven counts of delivering meth.
Guida was arrested in August after selling almost two pounds of the drug to undercover informants over a three-month period.
Court records say a typical “hit” of meth is a half a gram or less, depending on the user. Records say Guida sold enough meth for about 1,700 hits and collected $10,700 during the transactions.
According to a probable cause statement, the drug deals took place in locations throughout Dallas.
